Synopsis
College freshman Kanji Sasahara reluctantly joins his university's Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (Genshiken), where he's confronted by hardcore otaku like the eccentric Madarame. As he's dragged to doujin shops and festivals by members including the handsome fanatic Kosaka and his non-otaku girlfriend Saki, Sasahara must reconcile.
