Synopsis
In the historical drama Hashire Melos, Melos, a noble man from Messina, travels to Syracuse to procure a sword for his sister’s wedding. After being unjustly sentenced to death by a paranoid king, he pleads for three days to return home, risking everything as his friend, a sculptor, steps in as a substitute.
