Synopsis
Known in Japan as Metropolis, this 2001 film follows detective Shunsaku Ban and his nephew Kenichi as they navigate a city torn by human-robot tension. Kenichi’s encounter with a mysterious amnesiac girl pulls him into a power struggle led by Duke Red. Loyalties and identities unravel amid Metropolis’s looming unrest.
